Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libreoffice
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice impress, and create new presentation. 2. Enter some main text, and then Insert / Hyperlink 3. Enter URL as target and text for the link in the Hyperlink window, click Apply, then Close. 4. A hyperlink appears. 5. Save the presentation as Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP PPT. 6. File / Reload the ppt once it is saved. 7. Observe the hyperlink being gone *completely*, only the link text remaining. NOTE: previous OpenOffice.org on Ubuntu 10.04 (think it was 3.2) also had a similar bug - except the hyperlink there remained, and the only problem there was that after export to PPT and reload, links would be colored very light gray (and thus unreadable on white background; only reference I could find to this problem is "OpenOffice.org Forum :: Hyperlink colour change in Impress not working" - http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=114647); again, the difference is that in LibreOffice, hyperlink is *completely* gone. Installed LibreOffice via ppa as per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LibreOffice. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS Release: 10.04 $ apt-cache policy libreoffice libreoffice: Installed: 1:3.3.0-1lucid1 Candidate: 1:3.3.0-1lucid1 Version table: *** 1:3.3.0-1lucid1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: hyperlink impress ppt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/721386 Title: Impress PPT export does not preserve hyperlinks -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
