Hi. Thanks for asking. The bug should clearly be closed. Here's why. The problem I reported should have been very common. There should have been more than a few indignant nvidia users whose batteries died. Because it was just me, I tend to think it was a coincidence involving my battery or hardware. i still have the computer. It runs Natty. The "new" battery is still dead. (Since it was in essence a gamer's machine, the battery never ran very long or very well. And so I bought a new computer. Non-nvidia.
