That's interesting. Could you post the output of "grep -R . /etc/ld.so.conf*" please? Also please check if /usr/lib/fglrx exists. And also, please run "strace -e trace=open banshee" and attach the output here. It would be interesting to see if there are any libraries being checked in between libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 and libatiuki.so.
