Upstream have closed the report since this has been fixed in Gnome 3.0.
Ubuntu will not be shipping Gnome 3.0, so that leaves this bug
unresolved at our end. Are we going to implement this as an Ubuntu
patch, or shall we let it slide. Personally, I think making the display
of these two icons in the toolbar optional, rather than outright
removing them, would be a good idea since it means that users who do not
wish to use the sidebar (because of screen size issues or whatever) can
choose to have easy access to these locations.
