Ive found one intreseting thing when running the command:

lspci -v | less

it outputted:

02:0c.0 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies Inc. ICE1712 [Envy24] PCI
Multi-Channel I/O Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem: VIA Technologies Inc. M-Audio Delta 1010LT
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 17
        I/O ports at df80 [size=32]
        I/O ports at dfa0 [size=16]
        I/O ports at df60 [size=16]
        I/O ports at df00 [size=64]
        Capabilities: <access denied>
        Kernel driver in use: oss_envy24

The intreesting thing was latency wich is low for (at least my slow system). By
increasing it, it would be less audio glictes / xruns /buffer underruns / audio
chopping.

A very fast computer can handle that, Not older ones. If youre not gonna use it
for audio production, You have no actual use for a lower latency time. By
increasing it more computers will support / work from the start..
Only music production computers will have use of lower latency and when you use
the computer that way.

Change the latency for future versions of Ubuntu?
