@Stefan debian is a really good "solution" for this and other errors. Esp. in servers i dont need upstart, i dont need plymouth, i dont need ureedahead. A server has to be a little bit "old-fashioned". Remember, debian squeeze become stable on Feb. 6. As another plus you will get an actual and fully functional mdam, xen4 and other goodies as well.
That was the final solution for my servers. On my desktop i switch to debian sid aka aptosid because of stability. Sounds a little bit crazy, but an debian sid with some experimentals and a nearly vanilla kernel runs without hte "normal" maverick and lucid problems for month now. The only thing about is - you must read the upgrade warnings - or you are an system guru in patching faulty packages. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/556372 Title: Please remove the plymouth dependency from mountall / cryptsetup -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
