just posted this at bug~106011 after update to linux-image 2.6.20-14-23, upon boot. lib-ata or sata-via is reporting a revalidation error (error 19) on the detected detect drive (only one connected), and as that drive is the root drive is not being found and thus system will not continue to boot.
