Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity
In emacs org-mode, if I schedule a task with C-c C-s, unity spends around 30s refreshing the desktop, starting by killing the task bar on the LHS, redrawing emacs full screen with no decorations, before catching itself and eventually drawing things correctly. Subsequent scheduling works as expected. Happens after every new boot ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: unity 0.2.46-0ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-25.44-generic 2.6.35.10 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-25-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Feb 28 21:41:52 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Netbook-Remix 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.4) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick ubuntu-une -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/726781 Title: Switching to emacs-calendar from org-mode the first time causes unity to spend 30s refreshing the desktop -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
