I confirm this bug for Ubuntu Natty Alpha 3. I'm attaching two
screenshots while using a theme that has a different color for the panel
background and text than the GTK window colors.

Compare the upper indicator applets with the lower window list applet in
the screenshots. As you can see the indicator applets look out of place
when I'm not using custom colors.

When I do use custom colors the text becomes very difficult to read.
This depends on the color I select for the panels but as the indicator
applets uses a different color than the rest I would have to pick a
different color for panels containing only indicator applets. All other
applets except for the indicator applets use the panel colors instead of
the window colors.

I did not have this problem with the indicator applet in Ubuntu
Maverick.
