Additionally, when I submit articles to ostg, it needs to be html-ified, and I actually write my articles in a note. I find tomboy is much much quicker for these purposes than a text editor.
While it's useful to click links to check they're correct, clicking the links don't always happen intentionally, and often I end up with a browser full of a dozen or more tabs of invalid urls.
