Public bug reported: Blender, OpenOffice.org apps, glChess and Sudoku don't use their 22x22px application icons in their Applications menu entries, but instead larger ones that are scaled down. This causes blurring compared to the 22x22px icons (found here: http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Fridays) which have 1px borders and some simplification. Beagle's notification area icon also suffers from this.
When dragging these icons to the desktop and 'stretching' them, we find that Blender and glChess have a SVGs, while OpenOffice.org and Sudoku have only 48x48px bitmaps. It should be made sure that all the 16x16px, 22x22px, 32x32px, 48x48px (same as the SVG?) and SVG icons for applications, when available, are packaged and properly configured for use in their respective areas. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Wrong icons used in menu and desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106259 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
