I have Feisty Beta full updated running on two computers. Both of them had the problem with the panel icon showing no network connection when there was a connection. I just updated both of the systems with some "network manager" stuff along with some other upgrades. Now the problem on both computers seems to be fixed with the latest updates. (The latest upgrades shown by Synaptic)
