For some odd reason I lost the ability to use my keyboard during the install. Therefore, the syslog and partman files are from /var/log/install/ after I had restarted and completed the install and restarted the machine. I think however, that they should still contain the relevant information. Otherwise get back to me, and I will try again and produce the logs during install.
