Salut Mathieu, I used the text-mode installer from the alternate cd.
And I actually got into trouble there too: the notebook only has a soft- eject button, and no physical eject button on the drive, so when I was asked for the other dvd-s, I couldn't add more, because I couldn't swap the discs. Perhaps adding an "eject" button in the installer would help users with slot loading drives (macbooks for example).
