I am using Tango on Feisty Fawn, however the problem also exists for
Human with all but OpenOffice, for which it uses its own icons.

Blender's icons are found on http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Fridays
under "Friday November 3rd", OpenOffice.org's under "Friday November
17th", glChess's under "Friday November 10th", and Gnome Sudoku's under
"Friday December 15th". There are also icons for other programs there
that are not being used, such as Celestia and gFTP.

I am a little confused. Are application icons the choice of the package
maintainer, the icon theme or the software developer?
