I already have the user accounts in Ubuntu with Chromium installed and manually configured to English-UK.
I don't know if this still occurs with the newer version of Chromium? The only way to test it is to install Chromium on a test computer with Ubuntu, set the locale in Ubuntu to English-UK when installing Ubuntu.
