It's a strftime format string.

You can use any of the options on
http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/intrepid/man3/strftime.3.html and
test them before translating with the 'date' command.

For example, im my locale:

$ date +"%a %H:%M"
dv 10:27


** Changed in: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Fix Released
