Benjamin thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately, in all versions of Ubuntu, including Maverick, I have had to go to 'Edit->Preferences->Libraries' and then click 'FFMPEG libraries Locate'. At this point, a message box tells me that Audacity has located the plugin, do I want to search for a new one? I then click 'No' and Audacity runs ok.
I don't know whether this problem is unique to myself, or whether others suffer the same problem, but certainly in my case, without the ability to configure the library I am unable to run Audacity. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/738160 Title: Audacity unable to process audio input in Natty -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
