Hello Moc! Thank you for you report. You may be interested to know
that *middle-click* already opens a new instance, and this is even less
clicks.
Double-click on the Launcher would not be ideal to use for opening an
new instance of an application, as it already has a defined behaviour to
to show a spread of open windows of that application.
