So I installed grub-pc without errors and finally rebooted my computer. The result is:
error: couldn't find the chunk descriptor. Press any key to continue... Actually I can't continue. Caps Lock and Scroll Lock flashes instead. Probably the filesystem was indeed damaged. (I had video related problems and blind reboots before.) I can access the partition from Maverick.
