Public bug reported: Binary package hint: banshee
I double-click on a radio stream, and then close the window (expecting it would just hide) but it exits. It only happens during the period of time of which banshee is "contacting..." the stream. If banshee is closed when buffering, it hides as expected. Steps to reproduce: * Add a slow radio stream to your list (preferably one that takes a long time to connect, e.g. foreign radios) * Make sure banshee is not playing (stopped state). * Double click on the radio stream to play it * While it still says "contacting..." close the window, either by hitting close button or by ALT+F4. * Notice that it completely exits instead of just hiding. Attached is a debug log of those steps (banshee --debug) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: banshee 1.9.5-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-7.38-generic 2.6.38 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-7-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Mar 25 13:28:45 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Alpha i386 (20110310) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US:en PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: banshee UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: banshee (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/742651 Title: Banshee exits if closed while "contacting..." stream -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
