If I didn't know better, I'd say it's monday - oh wait - it IS monday. Of course after I tried everything again (unpack source, copy protocol.h, try make, forget "max_sectors" for the hundredth time, comment it out, do the make-trio, run depmod and modprobe) it works fine. However that'S exactly what I did this morning and I got some weird errors when inserting the tifm_sd module about symbol versions (even though I had removed the modules both from memory and the drive).
Doesn't matter - it works.
