Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libreoffice
Steps to reporoduce 1. Open some documents (presentations, docs, spreadsheet) 2. Open some CSV file, save it still as CSV, edit in some way 3. Work work work with your documents until libreoffice crashes (this step might require longer time) 4. Run libreoffice again 5. Choose to restore all the files Expected results: Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets should be imported, while "Import from CSV text" window should be displayed only for CSV file Actual results: "Import from CSV text" offers to import text from Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets. It displays ZIP binary contents of the files in the preview. This is confusing and a bit stressing (was my work lost or not?!), although minor issue: after clicking Cancel in the CSV text import dialog, the Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets are properly restored. lsb_release -rd: Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 apt-cache policy libreoffice libreoffice: Zainstalowana: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 KandydujÄ…ca: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 Tabela wersji: *** 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/748896 Title: After-crash restore displays "import from text" for all documents if one of the documents to restore is CSV -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
