Hmm... no, web browsers could just use operating systems, being
additional layer between them and web applications (like existing
libraries and virtual machines already provide for desktop apps).

But remember we could be threatened again to be banned if we continue
discussion on this broader topic. I just thought that Mozilla supports
this view of web apps, so such patch I think won't be officially merged.
