Hi Claude,
Can you boot your machine, gather the output of
sudo lspci -vvn
sudo dmesg
then plug the card in and repeat those two commands and include the before and
after messages in this bug.
Also having plugged the card in please run apport-collect 750638 to collect
more information about your machine.
