Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
To change your preferred image viewer, you need to set the file associations for each of the many image types. It would be great to have an option in "Preferred Applications" to set your image viewer. (Change from Eye of Gnome to Shotwell or kuickshow.) As a workaround, you can use Ubuntu Tweak to set the image viewer: http://askubuntu.com/questions/15418/how-can-i-change-the-default-program-for-viewing-pictures-and-photos/15424#15424 Can that code be moved into "Preferred Applications"? ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: feature ** Tags added: feature -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/751756 Title: Request: Add an image viewer to Preferred Applications -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
