Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-weather

Currently, the city name, weather information, temp, humidity, etc. are
presented as menu items, however when these menu items are clicked
nothing happens. To me this seems like an incorrect user interface, and
goes against the idea of app indicators. It is probably a violation of
the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines as well. At the very least, these
menu items should bring up the forecast. At best, a new UI should be
designed that is more consistent with user expectations for what a menu
is supposed to do.

My suggestion is to remove this information from the menu entirely, and
as I described in Bug #751831, only display the temp and weather icon
for each city in its menu item. Then, when the menu item is clicked, it
will bring up a complete forecast for that city. This would remove the
"switching" functionality from these menu items, which could be moved to
the indicator preferences (or just determined automatically with
GeoClue).

** Affects: indicator-weather (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
