Upstream (gnome) developer submitted patch: Patch (is) to remove the DefaultPlugins.desktop file entirely
Now that plugins are able to be disabled in the preferences dialog, the DefaultPlugins.desktop file seems even more geared towards developers. I don't see a reason to leave it in for standard end users. 2007-03-20 16:31 UTC Committed the patch from comment #1 to SVN (r1086).
