Preliminary results with Natty Narwhal:

* Installing Evolution and activating MAPI worked well on the single
attempt made so far.
* Receiving messages through MAPI works too.
* Sending messages does not. This is a similar behavior to what I
observed with 2.28.3. "Error while Sending message. OpenFolder: MAPI
error MAPI_E_CALL_FAILED (0x80004005) occured". I am attaching the gdb
log and a bt at that point (...trace). Note that restarting Evolution
allows the send to succeed. However, retrieving any message after that
point stalls (the preview and status line both show "Retrrieving message
'<message ID>' and the status line is stuck at 0%. Status line also
shows a stalled "Storing account 'mapi://<account See ...trace2.
Restarted Evoluition; messages can now be retrieved.
* When (eventually, unsuccessfully) sending messages, the status line
spends several minutes showing "Fetching summary information for new
messages in Deleted Items (0% complete)". (trace3).

I will reinstall Natty, configure Evolution with some other source, and
try configuring MAPI again.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,

Michel.
