This should be promoted to critical, because it happens every time, and many people simply want a full portable version of Linux to run on guest computers when they don't have rights or the computers are configured improperly (or compromised), such as school computers (very few decent pieces of software), friends' computers who don't have software and refuse to download free software, and for demonstration purposes.
I personally am trying to use this for doing homework on school computers using OpenOffice, since the virtualization software they use makes the windows version of OpenOffice crash after running for 10 every time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/660942 Title: parted_server crashes during installation onto USB key. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
