I'm also having this problem with my Dell Inspiron N7110. I'm not sure
whether to report this as a separate bug or not, but the symptoms are
the same on my system -- i.e. the touchpad menu is not showing up in the
Mouse settings menu, but the touchpad works fine (the tap to click works
especially well .... grrrrr).

Should I file a new bug? Has any progress been made on this, short of
inserting hacks into psmouse.ko?
