I downloaded the attached file onto my Desktop, and much whirring of
the harddisk ensued. The whole machine crashed, and I had to turn it off
manually. There is something in the file that the thumbnailer cannot
cope with. I'm using Feisty.
The crash was made much worse by the fact that the file was on the
Desktop: I was unable to get into Gnome again, as every time I logged
in, Nautilus attempted to create a thumbnail of the file and it crashed
again.
