Something else must have changed. Still on 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2, libreoffice
now starts up; the first start of the first program (in my case
lowriter) took quite a while, but anything else after that just works
fine. localc gave me the hint that "Because the current formula
separator settings conflict with the locale, the formula separators have
been reset to their default values.".

I think this is fixed, thanks! ;)
