Binary package hint: simple-scan
I scanned 12 pages of a document and then tried twice to save it as a
pdf. Each time the save dialogue disappeared the main simple scan window
turned into an empty grey box. In the process a 2.8MB file (attached
here) had been created that could not be opened by a pdf reader.
