I don't know if it is related, but anyway, I find this behavior looks like what Christian reported.
* Close all opened windows, if any; * Open Firefox (or any other app: I tried with LibreOffice Writer and Nautilus too). If not in full screen mode,put it into full screen, then close Firefox and open it again. If there are no other opened windows and Firefox is launched in full screen mode, Unity Launcher does not hide. * Click on a blank space in Firefox: the Launcher still shows; * Click on a blank space in Unity panel: the Launcher still shows; * Click on a Firefox menu (i.e. Files): the Launcher hides; * Click on Firefox address bar: the Launcher hides; * Click on the search textfield in the HTML startpage: the Launcher hides.
