I am on 11.04 beta 2 on Dell Inspiron 6400, also BCM4311: uga@anna-laptop:~$ lspci -vvnn | grep 14e4 03:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401-B0 100Base-TX [14e4:170c] (rev 02) 0b:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 01)
'sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer' did not solve my problem. I still don't have any wireless. According to the "Addition Drivers" thingy I have "Broadcom STA wireless driver" and "This driver is activated and currently in use" Any workarounds? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/760920 Title: STA driver not can not activate bcm4311 wireless -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
