Hmm. After doing 'apt-get autoclean', 'apt-get autoremove' and 'apt-get install -f', things seems to be ok. Could it have been that the xorg- files were too large for some cache under /var or something, and that after some freeing of space the install went through better? Everything seems ok for now at least.
