Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

Steps to reproduce:
Use 4 virtual workspaces in 2x2 configuration.
Switch to the the top right workspace, open any application in unmaximized
window and move it to snap to the right workspace border.
Switch to the top left workspace.
Try to switch to the previously opened application.

A similar Bug #738908 has been reported, but this is in my opinion
different. In this case, the windows don't overlap multiple workspaces.

The same behavior can be observed when you are on the right side
workspace and the window is on the left side of the left workspace.
