I can confirm this, and can see a few people using this configuration. I have a laptop using nvidia-current and screen cloning so I can use a 1280x1024 monitor though the HDMI port plus USB keboard & mouse when I am at my desk and use the built in 1920x1080 screen when I am roaming.
The problem is that when I clone the screens using nvidia-settings the Unity launcher menu (Ubuntu logo in the top left) is not present on either screen. I get everything else, including the far right "power" button. This is confirmed in the latest update on 2011-04-20. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/711456 Title: Cannot launch applications on secondary X screen -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
