** Description changed: I made a bootable USB stick from the Ubuntu 11.04 beta 2 desktop-iso (AMD64). When I boot it on my Lenovo U350, it imitatively crashes. The screen is almost blank, but there are some unreadble text on the screen. The font is about 5x10cm on my 13" screen. It has clearly crashed. This happens in under 1 sec after the USB-stick is first read. After this crash nothing happens, the USB-stick is not read. And after 10 sec, the laptop reboots.
