Doesn't require a reboot just a logout and log back in. On my machine Lenovo t61. to recreate, add UK keyboard, delete USA keyboard. logout and back in. USA keyboard now reinstated . Makes no difference if systemwide settings are used or not. Natty Beta 2 with all current updates as of 14.10 BST on 21/4/11
