you have tons of packages from PPA installed. A good candidate which
could block the upgrade is x11-common from "xorg-edgers fresh X crack"
PPA which holds back upstart and in turn blocks the upgrade of the whole
system.
Please install ppa-purge and use it to downgrade all of this PPA's
packages before the upgrade.
Downgrade the packages to the version of the official Ubuntu archive
until you find the culprit (webkit and banshee may also cause problems)
I'm closing this report because it is not a bug with Ubuntu. Don't
hesitate to submit any new bug.
