It doesn't seem, that vdradmin-am changes its behavior until 11.04 will be released: http://projects.vdr-developer.org/issues/626
But within 11.04 this should work, perhaps the packet vdradmin-am could ship with a config file, that changes the port. Or vdr is placed back to the old port...
