Public bug reported: running ubuntu 10.10 on asus Eee pc 1015ped
simple straightforward issue: the windows for certain applications extend off the bottom of my screen (1024x600) and because of this are impractical to use, i have tried to resize them to fit but they wont resize any shorter. its pretty common for the windows to be improperly resized on my screen, in most cases i can resize them, not so for the following applications: -Gimp image editor -Evolution mail -Firestarter and im sure there are others i cant remember off the top of my head. the only workaround i could find is to use the Alt key to move the whole window around so i could use the buttons on the bottom. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: obstructive resize windows -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/769010 Title: some windows dont fit on screen -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
