Public bug reported:

the on board wireless card does work, as it pick up some ssid's around
my area, and even detects mine is there even though its hidden. but when
i turn off roaming and put in the wep key and all that, i loose all
ability to connect to any network. if i click on the network manager at
the top of my screen, it denies the wireless connection or interface is
there at all.

this is really the last hurdle for me, if this worked, i could (and
would love to) use ubuntu every day
