Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center
There are other similar bugs to this for other packages, so this might just be another instance e.g. of #435332. T he software centre won't install Simple CompizConfig Manager. I get an error dialog : *Package Dependencies can't be resolved* This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable. Furthermore there could be a conflict between software packages which are not allowed to be installed at the same time. Details: The following packages have unmet dependencies: simple-ccsm: This is possibly a packaging error, though the similar problems seem to point to a more systemic problem. I expect software-centre to sort out and install any necessary dependencies. It didn't do that.
