The Gnome vs. Unity stuff is pretty confusing. Today Natty abruptly logged me off while I was browsing the internet. When I logged back in, I noticed that my sound indicator was gone. I ended up in Synaptic trying to get it back and after adding a few Gnome things to get it back, I decided I was going too far and quit before I screwed up Unity. ?????
