Hi StangLS, I see from your bug report that you're running Shotwell 0.7.2, which is now two releases old. Versions of Shotwell later than 0.8 include a directory monitoring mechanism that will likely solve your problem. The current version of Shotwell is 0.9.3. You can download it here: http://www.yorba.org/shotwell/install/ . Did upgrading fix your problem?
