@Rasto: Too many clicks and differents behaviors in your proposed, keep simple and cool. Spread Mode show all the windows when are too many apps.
Like i say up... Actual behavior in Unity: 1. Clicking an icon of a focused (maximize) window: Does nothing (?) 2. Clicking an icon of a minimize window: Does Maximizes (intuitive) 3. Clicking an icon with two or more windows: Spread Mode of the windows (really nice) Now is simple, but the point 1 is failing (Does nothing).
