Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-network

indicator-network 0.3.8-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu Natty

1. Connect to the Internet using a wired connection.
2. From the network menu, turn Flight Mode on.

What happens: You're disconnected from the Internet.
What should happen: You remain connected to the Internet, because the wired
connection is not a transmitting one.

<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Networking#flight-mode>: "Turning on Flight
Mode should turn off all transmitting connection types — wireless,
mobile, and Bluetooth."

** Affects: indicator-network (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
